Welcome to Macaroni Kid

We're back and under the ownership of a new publisher!

By Angelina Capalbo October 26, 2020

Hi, my name is Angelina and I am your new publisher for this local edition of Macaroni Kid. Over the next few weeks, I will be busy sourcing local events and activities to feature and add to our calendar. If you attend one of the events that we list and enjoy it, please let the event organizer know about us. If you know of an upcoming event that we don't have listed, please let us know. Anyone can submit an event on our site, click here to submit an event now. We love the big part we play in introducing our visitors to fun local events and we love to learn of new event venues too. Plus, sharing is caring and we don't want anyone to miss out on any local fun. We list events for free as long as they are under $15. If they are over $15, the organizer has several options to list their event for free, including but not limited to reducing their event cost to meet our minimum (mention Mac Kid to save), advertise on our local edition, grant us media access to check it out (previews work too) or run a giveaway on social media - seems like a fair trade, right?

We do have some overhead expenses (website hosting, email, etc... and of course our time) so please let us know if you would like to support us in anyway or let a local business owner know that they can promote their services on our website, while supporting a local mom too. Please follow us on social media, at whichever platform tickles your fancy: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and LinkedIn and let your local friends know that we are a new, active, e-resource for the local community, and we'd love for them to join in. If they don't live local, refer them to our National site, where they can search by state and city, to find their local publisher and if they don't see one, let me know if their interested in starting a Macaroni Kid edition in their local community, as we do get a referral bonus for signing them up. Feel free to reach me at anytime by replying to any of my weekly emails or directly at angelinac@macaronikid.com.

In addition to Macaroni Kid, I also own Ogee Market, and we sell eco-friendly, organic products locally or ship for a fee. We also provide consulting services to families that want help transitioning into an organic, plastic-free, or zero waste lifestyle. Please say hello@ogeemarket.com! We also love helping you shop and finding anything that you might need, especially if it's green! Let us know if we can help in anyway.
